Keep Art Taking place
The Arts and Education Council builds appreciation, participation and assist for arts and arts training via the St. Louis neighborhood. This statement articulates the aim and value of arts schooling within the balanced curriculum of all students, asserts its place as a core tutorial subject area, and particulars how sequential arts learning will be supported by rigorous national requirements and assessments.

Partnering with Vans Customized Culture, Individuals for the Arts has designed the Arts Schooling Navigator, a series of e-books overlaying a variety of matters with the purpose of serving to educators, college students, and advocates alike navigate the advanced field of arts education.
Jim Daichendt, Ed.M.’03, a/okay/a G. James Daichendt, dean of arts and humanities and professor of art history at Level Loma Nazarene College in Southern California, has written various books about contemporary art, especially road art, together with Kenny Scharf: In Absence of Myth (Flexibound, 2016); Shepard Fairey, Inc.: Artist/Professional/Vandal (2013); Stay Up!: Los Angeles Road Art (Cameron, 2012); and Artist-instructor: A Philosophy for Creating and Teaching (Blackwell, 2011).
The mission of Persevering with the Conversation is to promote and advance dialogue in an effort to establish and work on pressing issues within the Arts in Training sector and to inspire these involved to guide and create change on this sector and past by way of expanding the place of the humanities in schooling and in society.
